I love the bookshop then and I love it even more now. Paris is special. I cannot imagine a bookshop chain in London letting customers stay without calling ‘the management’ which probably means a big fat ‘no’ as it might be a ‘health and safety’ hazard or their ‘insurance won’t cover it’
